Overview of the Initiative
GenerativeX Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter “GenerativeX”), which develops and provides services leveraging generative AI, will begin offering generative AI-powered solutions in the management and financial consulting domain together with renue Inc. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter “renue”), a company that provides digital transformation (DX) and AI implementation support, including the financial analysis service “SubFi.”
This partnership aims to support management improvements and strengthen the financial health of small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) by leveraging generative AI, as exemplified by ChatGPT. Work in this domain that has traditionally required substantial time and experience is expected to become dramatically more sophisticated and efficient through the use of generative AI.
Both companies plan to develop a new tool that makes it possible to analyze corporate accounting and financial data in plain Japanese and proposes concrete action plans to reduce costs, complete with examples.
Specifically, the "SubFi" service offered by Rinoi will integrate advanced data analytics powered by generative AI, enabling business leaders, finance professionals, and consultants to make more accurate, faster decisions. In addition, "SubFi" is expected to include features that recommend appropriate SaaS and cloud services to support the digital transformation (DX) of small and medium-sized businesses.
Although large language models (LLMs) like the current ChatGPT are said to struggle with handling numbers and performing accurate computations, the two companies plan to address this challenge going forward by developing proprietary models and algorithms.
